Exclamation I've got a deal for you!!

I went to a Big Lots today and we were looking through the store. We happened upon the pet section and there it was.
I found a 2.65 gallon Pirate Fish tank kit! Not only that, it was all of $18.88!!
I'm a fan of Pirates and all, so this was an awesome find.
I didn't get one since I'm not in the market for one, but I thought I would let you guys know.
Great deal for a cute tank! Here is a pic of what it looks like. I obviously wouldn't use it as a goldfish tank, but put a heater in there and it would make for a neat Betta tank!

I picked this up at my local Big Lots yesterday! I don't plan to use the pirate decorations, but the tank itself is really cool! I love the design. Has anyone use the Elite filter before? Does it work well for bettas? Do you think I can put my tetra heater in there (that I had been using in my 10 gal)? Or will it get too hot (it does not have adjustable temps)?

I've never heard of Big Lots, but that's such a good deal! Especially considering how tank kits never come with heaters...heaters are so expensive.

I saw 1 Gallon Mini Bows being sold at Princess Auto while I was in Windsor for $12.00. That was a surprise!

Forgot to mention I have an Elite filter for my 10 gallon. Mine is okay...it's adjustable, but even the lowest setting is a bit strong. You'd have to create a baffle for it.

I'm totally stopping by Big Lots tomorrow. I need another Betta!

I can't believe they advertise it as a goldfish tank...out of control.

WANT!

Me: Can we go to Big Lots?
Fiance: Yes... Why, what's at Big Lots?
Me: *playing dumb* I don't know...

Really, though, I've got a betta that could use his own tank and that's a great price.

I actually went to another local Big Lots and they didn't have anything like that.
I *THINK* you'll have better luck finding it at a larger Big Lots, or one that sells more furniture then others.
