Smile Update on Poseidon

For a couple days he's been really sick and I thought he had SBD, but he must've just been very bloated. He finally pooped and it was kind of greenish, which I was like umm ewww.lol But now it's normal again. His stomach is finally back to normal and he isn't laying on the bottom anymore. I've been fasting him and I gave him a pellet today and he ate it! He's finally swimming around and coming to me when I go up to his tank. The only thing I found a little odd is that there are little dots of red on the bottom of the tank (I left it rockless to check out his poop). I'm going to Petco tomorrow and picking up a 2G for him because he's in the 1G hospital tank. Hopefully he'll be ok.

I have no idea...they look brownish, so maybe some poop things? I also saw a couple fins on the bottom of his tank. :(

But is it normal for the tips of his fins to be coming off? He's eating fine, his stomachs come down, he's swimming great and his color is still really bright. I'm confused...

Crowntails fins are very sensitive to water quality, sometimes even slightly poor water quality can cause the tips of their spikes to burn off. What are your stats?

I don't have any test kits. He has only lost a couple fins, but this has never happened before. I've had him for about a month. I have 5 other crowntails and it's never happened with them.
