Female betta, attacked or just changed color?

Okay the title is weird but I will explain...I have a photo so can you guys help me?

Now some of you may have ready yesterday that I have a new sorority yay! I originally bought 4 but noticed one had popeye on one side of her head so I isolated her. She is a runt too because she was the smallest in the tank.

Okay well so now I have 3 females in my 15 gallon tank divided tank. (My oldest female has 5 gallons of the tank to herself...so the other 3 have 10 gallons
It's in mid 70s temperature.
Tonnes of cover and hiding places

Now it is my smallest white bodied girl. Yesterday and at the petstore she had a white face, now it is red. I found this strange that her color changed over night. Perhaps my tank is very comfortable for them. But I was worried maybe someone was biting at her face as well. I will explain the red...it is on both sides seems symmetrical (which seems like could could just be her coloring?)

she has no scale loss
is eating fine...little miss piggy
no odd swimming behaviour
does not shy away from the other two fish
not hiding

Here is a picture...what do you think? should I be concerned of this coloring? (her eyes are funny looking but she was malnourished...the store did not divide their females by size and I feel that this caused some bullying)

lol sorry she was poohing in the photo....LOL....

I think it's just her coloring. It doesn't look like anything bad to me. It sounds like she just colored up after being put in clean, warm water. Just keep an eye on her.

Happens every time to mine. Start out with one color - end up with a diff color or complete darkening of the orig. color. But I find the mysery fun too :)

Don't worry. Be happy.

thanks everyone I noticed her fins turned more red than purple now as well, so I think her red pigment was hidden by her being stressed perhaps...hrm

I agree Romad!!! My marble has changed 3 times so far since I've had him!
