Waldorf, opaque white & blue HM?

Ok, so here's the guy I broke down and bought. I couldn't resist the eyes (which remind my of the one of the old guys from the muppets movies, Waldorf, hence the name). Here are pics of him in his cup, excuse the yucky water! Working on getting his new digs set up...

Do you think he is an HM?? His tail does not seem as long as the other HMs they had there and I'm assuming he is the same age... What do you think?

Ahhh, STUNNING! :DD I totally would have broken down and bought him too Such a handsome and cute boy <3

He could be anything from a delta to an HM....only way to tell for sure is to get him to flare. If his tail is anything less then a full 180 degree spread, then hes an SD or delta ;) Was he the same size as the others? If hes smaller, most likely hes younger, and if he is then his fins will grow out a little more ;)

thanks guys! i'll try to get him to flare tomorrow... letting him settle in tonight :)

is it true that opaques are more fragile and not as hardy as other types? i read somewhere that they are not good beginner fish... is this true??
