Test Kits....

So the weekend is getting closer and so is the time for me to buy my new tank or maybe tanks. Im making a big list of what im going to buy. From gravel, decor, heaters, and all that good stuff.

Then i started thinking about the cycling process and was wondering what kind of test kits they have out there to test for all the bad stuff im gonna run into. What types/brands would all of you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

API test kit is really great. I think most forumers recommend that brand, though I think it's a little pricey.

Good luck!

I use API from petsmart it was about $30 but with 700 tests thats really a good deal. I've heard on here that there is another liquid test kit at walmart for around $15 but I haven't been out to check if they have them where I'm at or not.

You prolly already know this but just to reiterate.. you DON'T want to use the strips or any stick on indicators.. they are worthless.

Like everyone else said, the API freshwater master test kit is the best and is highly recommended around here.

This looks like pretty much the same thing as API and its $17 at walmart.com.. you'd save about $12
