I can have a pretty twisted sense of humor and I was randomly thinking about the Diabeetus cats that are all over the Internet and I came up with an idea! I told my fiance that we should get one of those disheveled, grumpy-looking Bettas (the ones people look over for the "perfect" ones) and name him Diabeetta. Beet for short.
I picked this guy out. He's huge! And the camera is actually kinder to his complexion than how he really looks - he's a lot more mottled (but we still love him).
