Warning against fake plants!

This is a warning against ALL fake plants, not just silk! Well, I walked in to my room and I was horrified at what I saw! One of my rescues had gotten herself wedged inbetween two areas of her fake plant (she is a relativley normal sized female, but it could happen to any fish!) Whn I tred to free her I looked liften the plnt up, and was horrified! She was completely cut up, bruised up with ripped fins and lots of cute. She died with in three minutes of being freed. I removed all fake (silk and plastic) plants from ALL tanks after that occured. and ran to petco and grabbed tons of real plants and some extra ornaments today... I just want to warn ALL of you on the dangers of fake plants with smaller fish....

ohmygoodness, I'm all worried...I think I'm going to re-adjust at the decor in my tanks now so there are no tight places.

The thing is, this was just a floating plant! She wedged her way into the plant!!!! I would really advise not using plastic plants! Or even silk ones!!!! Just be careful!

Ive recently rid my tanks of fake plants, i wish i woulda never spent all that money on fake ones...

I have been frequenting plantedtank.net now and am gunna start a really cool tank soon, im really excited. :D

I know! bettas are so odd.... They like to get themslves into the tiniest areas until they can't get out.......

I wish I could manage to have some success with real plants. :( I've been plantless for a while now and it's gross.
