Exclamation drina is laying on the bottom!

I just got home and checked on Drina and she was just laying on the bottom! Not sideways or anything. So I freaked out cause that isn't like her so i took out some water and put in some hot cause its cold in here. Then a few minutes later she started darting around.
She kinda swimming righht now but she is just being kinda spastic in her movements... Her back fin (idk what its called but she's a CT and its where you see she's a CT) is clamped up and has been for the past few days....
help

It is probably just the water is too cold. What is the water temperature? Do you have a heater in there? What size tank is it? When they are cold they get lethargic and clamp their fins.

It was 65. No she doesn't have a heater because her tank is .5g. But I turned up the heater in the house so that should raise the temperature.

.5 gallon and 65 degrees? Well she's way too cold, for one thing, and doesn't have enough room to move, which might account for her spastic movements. Did you condition and let set the water you put in? How hot was it? You might have burned her. It's never a good idea to heat a tank with a cup of hot water. It's not going to help in the long run, and you might burn your fish.

If you can't put a heater in the tank, keep her in the warmest room in the house at least, and I think it's time to invest in a larger tank and a heater if you really do want your fish to stay healthy.

Now she is swimming around like normal. We have well-water that doesn't need to be conditioned. It wasn't much hotter. Maybe 75
