Unhappy New guy from Walmart

Ugh so here's #19.lol He's very sick though and I'm not sure if he'll survive. I saw him a couple weeks ago and he was gorgeous and very lively but I didn't get him because I didn't have the room...I should've just gotten him. He has some white fluffy stuff on parts of his body and it looks like he has an abrasion on the top of his body near the top fin. Unfortunately you can't see the white fluff on his body in the pictures. I put some aquarium salt in and I lowered the water level because he looks bloated so I'll fast him for a couple days. I have JFC and Maracryn. Which one should I use? Should I wait until tomorrow when he has calmed down? My mom was like why did you buy a sick one??!! I was like mom, I have the medication to help him and she's like well, he looks so sad.lol I think they bonded.haha Any advice would be great.Thanks!

Aww damn that sux. My fish i bought from walmart 2 weeks ago had the same white abrasion looking thing. He still has and i cant even tell if its getting better or worse.

You know, in some of the pictures he almost looks like he was pineconing. Could he have had dropsy? It's not too obvious, but the scales do look a little raised.
