Jupiter, I am not coordinated enought to transport a feisty betta on a tablespoon. Good for you that you can.

I keep my hand over the top so they don't squirm/jump out, but they seem to prefer it to being netted.

I just scoop the boys out with a clean 1ltire yogurt cup. Then they stay in that cup while I clean the tanks (one a a time of course =P)

I do like the organic look, but I could never manage to catch them in that little thing! Especially Kovu. He'd rather bury himself in the gravel than be captured by 'the net of doom', or 'the cup from hell' xD

I tried scooping Morgan out with a plastic gladware container. Well, he's too smart for his own good. I put a pellet in there to distract him and as soon as I started to lower the container, he figured out what I was trying to do and he went straight to the bottom and I ended up having to get him with the net. Bad fishy!! lol

I use little Dixie cups for my little boys. Oliver would not fit in one for the life of hiM!!!

I use the cups they came in :P I'm down to two, though, so I'll have to find something else, because it now takes forever to clean the tanks. I prefer to do them all in one giant sitting, when I have the motivation, and when I only have two cups, I lose that motivation D:
