Prime trouble

I got prime from amazon and I went for a bigger bottle cuz well makes sense. But the thing is its direction is 5ml or 1 cap full for 50 gallons. I use a 10 gallon tank. How can I use the proper dose? I general condition 1 gallon containers too. How can I safely not overdose it?

It's usually 1-2 drops per gallon. Oral syringes should be your friend in this. (: It's also safe to overdose, as long as it's not 10x the recommended amount.

Since I have a prime bottle that says "500 mL treats 5000 Gallons" and 5 mL treats 10 gallons. The Proper conversion is 1 or 2 drops per gallon? Just to be sure? Also Any idea where I can get a oral syringe?

+1
It 2 drops per gallon and i put about 3 per gallon all the time. I don't even know why i do it but i do it all the time. It doesn't matter what size of the Prime you have, the instructions are the same 2 drops per gallon.

Oral syringes can be found in pharmacies. (my parents work in hospitals, I get a lot of mine free)

Thank you

Question the syringes, do they need to be replaced after a set time or is one fine as long as I rinse it?

For christ's sake it's basic math, 1mlL for ten gallons. Not that hard.

If I recall correctly, each thread on the cap is 1 mL.
