An introduction!

Hello~ I didn't do an introduction when I joined. So a big hello from Georgia! My name's Morgan. I've been working at a pet store for a few years. I have a kitty and just one betta (for now..).

This is my 7 month old cat Pippy, I love her to pieces.

And this is my betta who I've had for 8 months and have yet to give a name. He is known as Fishy to me :P He likes to stare.

My Pippy has a split personality haha. Sometimes she will scratch you in the face and growl and other times she will come up and rub her little face on your cheeks like a total sweetheart. She is the feistiest cat I've ever had.

Neither my kitty or betta know tricks. My betta will follow my finger does that count? Have you taught your betta tricks?

Awwww. And yeah that counts as a trick. Also, yes I trained my bettas do do cute little tricks. They get an exercise and it's adorable to watch. You should think about holding your bettas food over the water to make him jump for it. That is one of my favorite and it's a super easy trick to teach. Just make sure your betta knows your holding the food over the water. From what you tell me with fishy fallowing your finger, he will catch on quickly. I had a cat when I was younger named spot, but, we had to put her down, she was 16. I was 5. My dogs aren't the smartest dogs, they can do a couple of tricks. My dogs just want to cuddle.

We well cuddling is one of the best things of having a furry friend!
Sometimes when I go to feed my betta he will jump. I was really surprised when he did it! When I feed him frozen foods I have him eat it off my finger. Especially daphnia because it's so darn messy otherwise.

Have you ever put ping pong balls in the water? I've been wanting to try and see if he'll push them around.

My bettas didn't really play with it. You should try it though. Also if he is in a glass tank, then try drawing on the OUTSIDE of the tank. My bettas loved that.
