I've never seen a plant with a suction cup base before. How about Barnaby?

I have plants with a suction cup base. They're great! My others would fall over all the time and it was getting to be a pain in the backside.

Well last night I decided to try feeding him pellets again, and guess what? He ate them! Then he started swimming all over the tank and flaring to his reflections again. I was so happy I watched him for a couple hours because I couldn't sleep.

When he flared his tail, I realized his orange looks kinda like rust, so his name is Rusty

I fed him again this morning and the same thing happened. He calmed down a little now. When I get back from Church my brother and I will do partial water changes.

Thanks all of you for your input!! I will post pics later.

I'm glad to hear that he's settling down and eating his pellets. I also have one named Rusty. :)

yeah, they sound pretty practical! Also, it kind of annoys me when you can see the base of a fake plant poking through the gravel, but those suction cups look easy to hide! I'll look out for them. :P

Do you have Petsmart in Ottawa? That's where I got mine.

We have a few Petsmarts, actually. It's where I got most of my girls and Pony Boy from. I've never seen suction cup plants, though. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

So I looked into my brother's Betta, which he named Zoda after an NES game character, and he made a bubble nest!!!
