wow. i really want live plants in my tank now. still doing my research on how to grow and take care for em. anyone know anything about those plant bulbs? they worth the try?

The betta bulbs? I've had good luck with them but thats actually rare.. usually the bulbs are dead or don't sprout. They're cheap so worth a try.. just make sure you sprout them in a separate bowl. Once they start to sprout put them in the tank but don't bury them or the bulb will rot. IMO they're a little more trouble than their worth and you still have to wait for them to get established before they really look nice.

Heres pics of my apons from betta bulbs.. two different plants from the same package. (These are young plants.. eventually they'll get going and spread out more)

(in the second pic the darker plant is silk.. the apon is the yellowish looking on)

amazing looking tank! You dont see many well aqua scaped hex tanks. I love it!

Check out mine i just started! I hope both of our HC works! haha
