14 gallon?

So if a split a 29 gallon, one half for my sister and the other for me, what could i put in mine?
I want cory cats and a betta, but could I add anything else in there? African dwarf frogs? Ghost shrimp?

I wouldn't add ADFs because they breath air from the surface and they aren't the strongest swimmers, so it would take a lot out of them to swim up for air all the time.

You COULD have a sorority. :) And a few cories. With that big of a tank, you have a LOT of options!

Oooo, Sororitys are lots of fun! :D Heres a GREAT sticky on them with a lot of good info: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=29402
I'd say 7 females would be a good number for 14 gallons ;) Watch out though and make sure the divider is secure and touching the tank lid! Females are notorious for jumping xD
Oh, and you'll want to add them all at once if thats possible :)

ooooo!! yay! Now i cant wait for my basement to be done!! I was going to set up the 29 for my goldfish BUT he croaked.
And my mom did say that if females could live together I could do it :D Im excited now lol. Oh yay, this time when I go to the store I can get 6 females instead of just being tortured by getting one.

I think 6 would fit very nicely in a 14 gallon and there will be plenty of room for plants and hiding places.

Hmm I dunno. I wanna try live plants though, definatly. How many females could go in there? Should I stick to 7?
I want the tank to look natural and match the background my dad has on there.

I think you could have 6 or 7 females and 5-6 cories. I have a neighbor who has a 29 gallon with 10-12 tetras in hers.
