Question about food types

Hey there I recently bought a male betta veil tail and I was curious if it's safe to mix their foods. I mean one day give them pellets and the next day give them flakes, and maybe give them one blood worm twice a week.

Yup, in fact, its a wonderful idea :) All animals need a little variety in their diet to stay healthy and happy ;) You can even mix up different pellet brands. Be sure to re-hydrate the bloodworms(let them soak in a bit of tank water for 10 minutes or so)before feeding if they're freeze-dried though to prevent bloating issues :)

Soaking them helps to prevent digestive problems. Welcome to the forum.

Just make sure to soak them in tank water, not water from the tap! Bettas love variety though. ;)
