I am OFICIALLY the Crazy Fish Lady!!!

My roommate walked in to see me playing "peek-a-boo" with Damon.. I'm never gonna live this down LOL


My friends all think I'm crazy for how involved I get with my fish hobby and seeing me playing with them was totally nuts in their opinions. I had a styrofoam cup sitting on my desk slightly in front of the tank and as I was doing stuff on the computer I noticed if I put my face directly behind the cup Damon would come look for me LOL he's such a cutie.

Damon is a very.. friendly I guess.. fish. He loves human interaction and will actually bite his tail if I go a few days without talking to him or "playing with him". I usually don't agree with putting bettas in community tanks with other fish but Damon I believe is one of those few bettas who I think actually would enjoy having lively tank mates.

I really don't consider my self "crazy fish lady" material but I'm starting to believe my friends LOL I mean Who plays peek-a-boo with a fish???

LOL. You are not alone!! I give all my buddies face time and play chase the finger with them to get them to dance. I actually feel guilty if I don't hang out at each tank for a while each morning and night.

They don't think its wrong.. they just don't understand why I look at 50 gallon tanks at petsmart and say "I would get one of those and put 1 betta in there" LOL

Not to mention I have 3 running tanks in a dorm room no bigger than a jail cell LOL

My co-workers think I am insane when it comes to my fish. I sit in my room and talk to them. I tell Flair everyday how hansom of a fish he is and how he is such a cutie and he gets excited lol. That or I get stared at like I am right now actually :)

ha, thats funny. i dont go so far as playing peek a boo, lol. but i sometimes kneel in front of my tank and just watch my fishies for up to 15 minutes sometimes. My boyfriend and our roomate think im a nut. But they r relaxing to watch

I'm always upstairs with my fish. It IS relaxing to watch them swim around and they are so beautiful! You can't help but fall in love with them. If people think I'm crazy, then well....too bad!!! lol
