My name is Sam, I'm blue!


This is my place.
Pardon the bubbles my owner just change my water for me! He does that once a week.
As you can see, I live in Japan. (literally and aesthetically)


Here is where I sleep during the day because I'm lazy:


And this is the bubble nest I made last week:



My owner found me in a pet store and bought me because I was the coolest
colored and sturdiest looking one. He wishes he could have gotten me and all
my friends outta there, especially the black one that didn't move much, but of course
if my friends were here with me we'd all have to fight to the death. And my owner
doesn't have space for a buncha other aquariums either unfortunately.
Hopefully they found nice homes too.

Hopefully I'll live a long time, life is short for us Bettas but my owner says he intends
to take good care of me right to the very end!

Thanks again to all the helpful people who gave my owner advice after he got me.
Now he knows how to take good care of me!

He must be very proud of that bubble nest. My betta claims to bubbles from the bubbler to be his bubble nest.

I love the tank layout. It's a good balance between bright and dark colors.

I'm glad you like your new home. It sounds like your new owner will take great care of you. And don't worry about being alone for long. I'll bet your owner will find a way to care for another fish.
I didn't think I had any room for more fish and have added 4 more 2.5 gallon tanks since then :)

To be honest I'm afraid I have no clue who makes the tank, sorry.
Next time I'm in the pet store I will have a look! But it's a Japanese brand most likely and not available overseas.

I'm hoping he makes another nest sometime soon, I felt bad destroying that one when I did the water change last night. Hopefully he's not discouraged.
