Bleud finally ate a pellet today! He hasn't eaten pellets since I got him and I've been feeding him the flakes, since he would eat that. But today he finally ate a pellet! :)

But now I'm worried. When he ate the pellet he jerked his head up and down a few times after. Kind of like it was stuck and he was trying to swallow it, I guess? Is that normal? And if it is, should I wait until he finishes shaking his head before giving him more pellets?

That jerking up and down is him chewing up the pellet. Just wait till he stops chewing and drop the next one in. Two or three pellets twice a day is about all you should feed him. Their stomachs are pretty small and you don't want to bloat him.

Yea I know how much to feed him ^^ I'll feed him 3 in the morning and 2 at night, probably.

And I didnt know they chewed up food. Wow!! Ok, that's awesome, lol
