Thanks Araielle! I'll miss the little dudes but I'll be happy certainly when I don't have to care for their tanks any longer lol

Haha!...I completely understand. :) I sometimes cry giving up my rescues to homes or placing facilities. At least we know we change lives & were a great part of them! It's so worth it.

Very much so! These poor boys were living in a home where I'm quite sure the people were chain smokers! That, I'm sure, could have quite the negative impact on the water quality and air quality since they do breathe in regular air just like we do! Their stuff reeked of smoke so much that I ended up throwing the two large vases, water conditioner, small bits of gravel, plants and whatever else was in the bag, away! So I'm quite glad to give these guys homes where they will be loved for what they are and not just for decorations!

I keep forgetting I have this thread lol. I have recently come into a female Betta who is adorable as all can be! But once she heals up, she needs a home! Asking $2 for her adoption with $10 Priority shipping. I won't name her so that if you want her, you can name her yourself! She was found in a LFS with other female Bettas, she was the last in the hierarchy but if acclimated properly and introduced into a sorority properly she would be fine! She's got some ripped fins which I'm healing up now, she's young so she's healing very quickly!

The red is not ammonia burns but just natural coloration. These are from when I first brought her home on Tuesday and she's already healing her anal fin up super well! She's a multi-color VT

And the most adorable thing about her is she's got a little splotch of black on her nose! All natural!

Oh and the girl had found a home with Flint as well for anyone wondering!

--------------------------------------------------------
Up for sale is Kili the Black Copper Bicolor Yellow HM! He's absolutely beautiful, I bought him from PetCo because my will power sucks and I have no room for him. I paid $15 for him but I ask you just give me $10 and then $8 for shipping & handling. I can't say if he's good in a community tank but he doesn't seem to mind the Tetras that swim by him in his little breeder box. I'd prefer to keep my expensive fish whole so I haven't chanced it with him. He's very healthy, he was doing a little bit of fin nipping but he was also in sight of another Betta so I believe it was just frustration as he hasn't nipped himself since then.

He's gorgeous! Looks even nicer than an AB fish--and minus the accompanying web ad that (following AB tradition) looks like it was made by a 14-year-old in 1995 with extra neon colors and waving flag GIFs.

Oh, yeah, and minus the $80 price tag too.
