Betta Tank Remodel

As many of you know, my poor betta, Pescado, was very sick after coming home from the LFS and I was worried he wasn't going to make it. After a week of medication, he is fully recovered and a very happy fish . Here are some pictures of him and his newly remodeled tank. Afterall, he deserves a present for dealing with his meds like a good boy.

Nice tank! Is that sand or gravel? It's kind of hard for me to tell.

Thank you everyone. He absolutely loves his tank. He's constantly swimming through all the plants and DW and hasn't stopped making bubblenests since he started feeling better.

Dramaqueen-- the substrate is black sand.

Actually, I don't have the shrimp, YET! Because I was medicating him when he was sick (it's when I first got him too), I was holding off on the shrimp until the medication was complete. Now that I am done medicating him, I'll do a few pcw's to get the medication out of the tank. I'll probably get them late next week. The snails were also moved to my 55g until the medication is out of the tank. I can't wait to see the shrimp on the black sand too, though!
