Pregnant Ghost Shrimp Sick?

Hi Everybody,

Just got some ghost shrimp for my 20G today. Most of them look great and really active, but one of them, clearly pregnant, is pretty lethargic and she's actually missing an eye. (Photos below)

Do they lose eyes sometimes? Is she lethargic from pregnancy?

Thanks!

Update: I just checked on her and she had fallen over sideways and looked like she couldn't get up. Is this normal?

Pregnant Ghost Shrimp Sick?

Pathology in inverts is VERY difficult to determine. I'd even go so far as to say its impossible. Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think that's normal, but I never paid much attention to my ghost shrimp.

You could put her in a container of tank water for further observation.

I've just put her in a little cup of tank water. She isn't staying upright anymore. ]=
