Well so far everything is going well. Freddie and his friend just hang out and follow each other round, I have a feeling they all will get along just fine.
Oh boy....it seems I was mistaken on the species of your Gouramis....Those are Golden Gouramis, which are a color variation of the Opaline Gourami, which get VERY aggressive. You'll eventually run into trouble pair in a 20, and then tossing the betta in the mix.....it won't be pretty :/
Its an adorable picture, thats for sure, though I'd consider re-homing those Gourami before they reach maturity and start getting territorial and aggressive...
Hmmm I don't agree with the others. My golden gouramis are scared to death of everything! If you walk by they have literally jumped out of the water, I hear a "plop". They haven't ever hurt anyone in my massive 50 gal community, except chasing themselves. I even have a 5 betta sorority in there too. I would just keep an eye on them if any aggression no matter how small I would divide them.
