Hmm....Did you rinse your gravel before adding it to the tank? There may be something in there.....try changing the water again and rinsing the gravel in hot water a few times perhaps?

Hmm.....it can never hurt to rinse again. It may just be your water too....only way to tell I'd think would be to rinse everything once again very thoroughly in hot water.

I've never had issues with cloudiness in an uncycled tank though....perhaps someone with more experience can jump in and give you better advice...

Gorgeous Dal VT!!!

What water conditioner are you using? Are you adding anything to the tank besides water conditioner? What type of food are you feeding?

your tank looks nice but if you don't mind a few suggestions I would add a cave and possibly a heater. Bettas really need places to hide to feel secure and they need temps from 76-82*F... just some things to think about for the future :)

Sounds great! I have a divided 10 and you won't believe the transformation he will go from being in the small container (I have one similar to yours) to 5 gallons.. mine were like whole new fish LOL.

I think my question was phrased wrong.. is your food flakes or pellets? I've heard some flakes can cloud the tank if you over feed. I think the aqueon is pellets but I could be wrong.

I would just let it settle for a few days to see if it goes away.. I really can't think of anything that would cloud your water. Some water conditioners will but I've tried aquasafe before with no problems.

You can feed 2-3 pellets twice a day.

Is it bad to keep my betta Duuler in a .5 gal "tank" as a temporary home? My budget is tight so Im unable to get a bigger one. If it's okay how long is too long to keep Duuler in the small tank?
