Just wanted to thank everyone in this forum for helping me out with Freedy, from his fin rot to refusing to eat to not liking me and refusing to flare. :)

After following your advice, he's a happy little fish, always zipping around his tank, and his fin rot is almost completely cleared up! He's less green and more blue than he was in my avatar pic, and now his whole body is covered in blue iridescence. Plus, he swims up to greet me (er, beg for food) every time I walk up and press my nose on the glass! He flares at me sometimes, too, which I think is adorable.

So thanks for your help. I'll definitely be sticking around. In fact, I have a friend who just got a betta (blue crowntail) and I think I'll point her in this direction in case she has any problems. :)

I agree this forum does help answer a lot of questions, plus some things I read can get me to add suggestions and advice as well, so I feel its an all around loop in a way. Get help and help back.
