My tanks are set up!

Finally! I picked up my tanks today and got them ready and set up. I still need some more plants and decorations and such but they are now livable for my bettas. And... I got three new fish .

My original two, Dallas and Ringo, adjusted perfectly. Ringo is in a 10g divided tank. He took to swimming around and checking everything out. His tank mate is a blue/purple/red crowntail male that I picked up today. I haven't come up with a name for him yet, but he is still checking out his reflection. He will flare up and then back up and hide... I have some freeze dried bloodworms and I gave them both a couple. Ringo went straight for his but it took the other fella a minute to realize he has food.

I only have three females at the moment, Dallas, Aphrodite, and Gucci, and I'm going to be getting some corys later too. I let Dallas loose first and after a minute I let Aph out, and then Gucci. Gucci seems to be a little bit more spastic than the others but I think she is settling down. I dropped three bloodworms in their tank... Dallas was right on top of it and then Aph... Gucci was too preoccupied so Aph got hers. Everyone seems to be settling in.

My camera is crappy and the lighting stinks, so I don't have any pictures. If ya'll have any ideas for a name for my new guy I would love to hear them

He's got a lot of "hair." FROdo would be a good punny name for him.

Hmm that's an interesting name.

I guess I'm going to have to pick up more females sooner than I thought so Aphrodite will leave Dallas along. Gucci has managed to stay out of the way but Dallas and Aph had it out last night. They are both in good shape though. Just some slightly tattered fins. They seem to be doing fine now though. I just didn't want to get all my fish from the pet store... I wanted to get the rest of them from breeders if possible but if I can't find any pretty soon I will just pick up a few more girls when I go to pick up the corys.

More Pictures

Dallas

Aphrodite

Gucci

The girls... you can tell Aph is puffed up but she has stopped being mean.

Ringo!!! He may not be the prettiest but he is by far the friendliest and my favorite.

And the one that is needing a name

Sorry the pictures are rough, I took them with my cell phone because I can't find my moms camera lol.
