Ahh my ADF!!

I know this is a betta place lol but I know a lot of people here have ADF's. I just did a water change today (about 30%) then after that i fed him some food cuz he was lookin really skinny (forgot to feed him this morning)

Ok heres where i start getting scared cuz i love the guy.

I dont know if overfed him because i always feed him about 4 bloodworms but after i fed him he was coughing//regergetating. Then when he stopped he seemed ok.

But then i turned out the lights to put em to sleep he started floating to the top spread eagle and stayed there for quite a while (10 mins) He's not dead hes back to the bottom but i just want to know if this behavior is normal??

Yeah its normal. ADFs are famous for their 'yoga' poses. They will hold them for hours and it is perfectly normal.

As Kelly said its perfectly normal. They always bite off more than they can chew, and of course if it wont fit its gotta come out

The floating that you talk about is mostly known as the "zen" position. Mine do it all the time, sometimes they become SO relaxed that they fall over on there backs! and seeing a frog laying down on his back with his arms and legs stretched out is always a scary thing! Little 's

Haha they are so fun. They are very smart too. I feed mine with a turkey baster and the second it sees it, it will wait for the bloodworms to come out :D I sometimes like my frog more than my fish :D
