Still won't eat...

My new boy (I've had him since Thursday), Dragner, still won't eat. He doesn't even look up when it is feeding time! And if he does happen to notice, he doesn't do anything!

95% of the time he is hanging out on the bottom. Not on his side though. And when he does swim, his head always seems lower to the bottom of the tank than his hind.

Tank temperature is 77-79. He is in a .5g temporary, till I can find my old 5g. I change 50% of the water every day. I have tried BettaRevive, Aquarium Salt, and BettaFix. Nothing works.

His not eating really worries me. He has been like this since I got him.

If he's in a half gallon container, the water should be changed every other day, 100%.

Wouldn't doing 50% changes every day, be essentially the same thing?

And I feel like if I take him out of his tank, he is going to get more sick.

Do you have a turkey baster or something to clean the fish waste off the bottom?

Yep. That is what I use. I suction the stuff off of the bottom first before taking half of the water out. There isn't much to clean off the bottom, except for disintegrated food. He doesn't eat so there isn't any waste....

It has been almost a week since I got him (I got him last Thursday) and he hasn't eaten! I should....be able to move him into a bigger tank and put the heater in tomorrow. That is if I can get my 10g ready for Ami...

I got him into the 1g with a heater. He is swimming around now! But he still won't eat. He still doesn't even look at the food when I feed him...
