Colts is going to die/is dead

Yeah.

Salt, warm water, and darkness didn't help.

Right now he's floating straight up and down, moving occasionally. When he breathes, it comes out of his gills. I don't know why.

If he's alive tomorrow morning, I'll be amazed...

RIP Colts

Yes, because that is how you treat Columnaris, which is what he had. It wasn't frigid, but colder (75)

Cold water, salt, and darkness. They tell you to use meds if it's really bad but his wasn't bad until yesterday when he passed (he is fully gone now, btw). It had gone from slightly over his face to all over his body. By time I had noticed (College student meaning I'm out of the room quite a long time... sigh :() it was almost midnight and far too late to find a petstore open to get the meds.

I thought I had beaten it, as the fuzz had started to thin. I don't know what happened or why it spread. Maybe his water got warmer, maybe it didn't. His temp was still 75 when I noticed it had spread. Maybe the sun got to him, not sure how when he was in my closet... I really don't know, and that's the worst part.

I'm so sorry! You did everything you could for him. He was lucky to have someone who cared so much about him.
