Tiny hole in Dorian's tail.

There is a tiny pin preick hole in Dorian's tail near the very end... It'a only really noticable when he flares up, I think he tore it when he was flaring up or when I was moving him to change his water (whoops :(). His fins are abnormally long (comapred to the other bettas I have seen) so they are very delicate.
I'm not overly worried about it (should I be) I just want to know what sort of product to look for when I go to the aquarium store later today to heal this little rip before it gets any bigger.

Aquarium salt should heal that right up.

Ah thankyou for that! I see aquarium salt mentioned a lot on these forums and I just wanted to be sure it was the right thing to help in this situation.
I'll go down to the shop now... :)

Argh so annoying! I went down to my local aquarium store and they had no aquarium salt in stock =__=.
But the lady at the counter suggested this water conditioner with Aloe Vera and other "healing extracts" in it and sold it to me for half price. I thought I might as well give it a go...
Otherwise I have to go into the city sometime to go to one of the larger stores there.
