Fluvals are far too expensive for me, but I love the way they look. I know someone had one, but I don't remember who.

They don't make a good betta tank because they are designed for the water to go to the very top of the cube. Bettas need at least 1inch of air at the top.

Also IMO they're not worth the money when there are a thousand other things you could be spending it on (like live plants, good food, a first aid kit, more fish...)

I love the design of them... but wow talk about expensive. For that price, you can buy a 30 gallon kit or something.

LOL ... more like 50 if you go the petsmart route. The one in my LFS is like $100 and its only what? 6 gallons or so?

lol I think so. That 30 gallon was just pulled randomly :) But you are right about the 50 gallon.

not a great idea for a betta because of the water surface. Also you wont be able to grow many plants in it because the lights are pathetic, you will have to do a DIY LED light set up which will cost you even more... i would not buy that tank...

I would suggest the Marineland 10 or 12 gallon if your looking for something that size. The Biowheel filters are great and nearly silent.
