Found the perfect intake tube cover! Save your fins!

So Ive had a large foam filter over the intake tube of my tanks to keep my betta's away from them. Usually if I dont, I'll find a nice torn up tail, as Koi's is right now.

So while at Petsmart I was looking around (trying to avoid the betta's) I found some smal foam filers for about $2.50 each... Picked up 2 to try.

PERFECT fit. Put them on both of my betta tanks

I just got one at petsmart today and it fits my eclipse great! Really cheap and effective.

VC.. they were at my petsmart right next to the filters but there were only 2 left so they could just be out at yours :)

Both tanks very setup temporarily, but right now something fouled the water in both and almost killed both of my little guys. I gota rip Koi's tank apart and take it to Petsmart because its cracking.

Filters seem to be at the beginning or end of the filter section, with the odd and ends small filters.

NICE!!! That's a great idea.... I currently have a plastic canvas "Cage" around one of my intake tubes. Looks too bulky. ):

I gotta ask, what are those plants in Koi's tank? They looks SO good!
