What the F happened to my fish

I woke up this morning to find 2 of my 4 albino cory's dead. And I only see 4 tetras swimming and i cant find the 5th one. And another Cory just started staying very still.

I just added 2 new live plants from plastic ones but im pretty sure that didnt do anything bad. So now I have 4 neons, 1 Cory, Adf, and my female betta in there.

I dont have a way of testing my water but i can tell you its very clean i just did a partial change yesterday.

I just added 2 more cory's yesterday from petsmart so they can just be sick from there right?? Or stressed.

The neon i had for a good 2 weeks so i have no idea why he's gone

Can someone help me out?

It's hard to know for sure without knowing every single tiny detail (basically being yourself) but I'd probably guess they were sick. Did you just add them to your tank straight from the store?

Is this the 10 gallon you set up on Feb 11th?

4 cories, a female betta, and 5 neons (and a frog?) is too much for a new 10 gallon, especially if you haven't had it set up for long. You need a test kit. It's a MUST if you're going to keep that many fish in a 10 gallon. You're adding fish too fast and overloading the tank.

I agree withh 1fish2fish and vaygirl. Also, cories are very sensitive to water conditions.

An over stocked tank is a cory's worst nightmare. They live on the bottom of the tank, and thats where the water is going to be the worst.... Thought I would point that out.

Good point. ^

Also, I do believe you didn't quarantine the fish. That could have been part of the problem too.
