My boyfriends betta fish Tobias, was last week moved from his 1 gallon bowl to a 5 gallon tank (Fluval Spec V). He has gotten a lot more active, started flaring, continued with his bubble nest and I think his find have gotten bigger or something (they just look better).
He darts around and then he stays calm for some time next to his bubbles. He's also next to the glass walls a lot kinda swimming towards it and my boyfriend is convinced that he's doing this because he's a selfish fish who wants to escape and wants more space and isn't happy with what he has. My guppies swim a lot against the glass wall and they seem happy (so does the betta) so is this a bad thing? Swimming against the glass wall (facing us)?
