I'm so sorry about your little girl. RIP fishy. I hope the rest of the girls are going to be ok.

Sidenote: Chicklet, that is very worrisome. I add salt to every single water change but only half as recommended for normal dosage. I thought it was a good thing. I'm going to do some more research on that one. Thanks for putting that out there.

I'm sorry I haven't updated this thread recently, but I've been busy and I'm afraid I have bad news. After losing the first girl to dropsy, I naturally kept a close eye on the others, but most of them quickly developed the same symptoms and sadly passed.

I'm down to just two girls now, and I currently have them separated for their own safety. This is so frustrating and so discouraging. I'm debating whether or not I want to continue with a sorority. Right now, I'm thinking it may best best to give each girl her own space, give the tank a thorough cleaning, and try something else later down the road. I just feel so bad about this mess.
