So for my Spanish class we had to write/create a book for 2nd grade bilingual kids. We're going to their class to read it to them. Naturally I thought about fish to write the story about! So here it is, included with uncolored drawings and english subtitles. Not the best drawings, lol. Especially the shrimp. :P
Chile and The Rescue
One day Chile was swimming in his tank with his shrimp friend, Sheila
Their owner, Manny, bought them a new castle decoration.
The castle was white nad gray. It was made of bricks.
They were excited to explore it.
While Chile was swimming through the window, he got stuck!
He tried to swim free but he couldn't. So he tried to wiggle free and stilll couldn't.
He was scared he would never get out.
Then Sheila saw Chile and went over to help him.
Sheila pushed and pushed and pushed Chile until finally Chile escaped!
Chile was very happy.
He thanked Sheila and they went to play in the bubbles.
They were best friends after that.
