Unhappy Smee isn't right & i don't know what I can do...?

My male plakat Smee isn't well, he's been acting werid, very quiet & low lately. Today all he's done is hide on the floor in his cave & quickly coming up for air, then straight back to his cave. I've put him in a breeding box to get a better look & he looks fine. But now he's not eating, & it was his favourite blood worm & he didnt touch one.
What can i do?

Here's some pictures, he's swimming abit odd too, flapping his flippers alot & his tail just flows with the water. Not usual.

He could have a fungal infection, but I'm no expert, so I'd wait to hear someone else's opinion. By looking at his face he looks like he has some discoloration? But I don't know what he would normally look like..
I just checked the "fish disease guide" that came with my coppersafe and I would guess fungal infection, but once again, I'd wait for someone else.
I hope he feels better soon!

Hmm....how big is the tank? Temp.? Water stats? How long have you had him? How often do you change the water and how much?

I can't see anything wrong with him visibly either...hmm....can you get him to flare?

Tank is 100litres, temp is 28c, ive had him for about 4 months, change the water once a week 50%

He's not flaring, i've moved him into a 20litre hospital tank now incase it is fungal. Around his gill area, there is some white & its not clear where his gill actually is.......if u see what i mean?

I do see a bit of white around his head and gill area, though to me it looks like coloring....is it fuzzy? Has it always been there?

I assume your tank is probably cycled....do you know the stats(ammonia/NitrIte/NitrAte)? Probably best to test the hospital tank as well(I assume that one is uncycled....)if you haven't already.
It never hurts to add a bit of AQ salt, about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon....and 20liters is about....5 gallons I think....

Try and get him to flare, if he won't go for the mirror, use a few different random objects.....just to see if he'll do it and to get a better over all look at him.

Smee is definately getting worse, this white/green patch is spreading a little round his head & gills. I'm treating him with Myxazine, its only the 2nd day, but im not sure what this illness is? His eyes are slightly cloudy now & his buoyancy isn't right neither. Would take pics but my cam is crap at close up pics, will keep trying.....
