Weird Question..

OK, I didn't want to gross anyone out with the title, but since I have had my betta I have not seen him poop! [Which is unusal to me because I've always owned goldfish and it's like they poop every two minutes..]

Anyways- I was just wondering what color it should be? I don't want to post this in the disease/sickness thread because I'm not really worried that he's sick, I just want to know what is normal. It looks like the pellets I feed him only a lighter color brown.. I assume this is ok?

I wasn't worried before about him being constipated because he wasn't bloated, I just figured he did his thing while I was off somewhere else...

Hahaha im not sure how to answer this. But dont worry about it he is pooping, what I notice about goldfish is you will see them swimming around for awhile with it hanging out, I cant honestly say iv seen my bettas poop either but I know they are. I wouldnt worry about it ;]

I pretty much never want to own a goldfish again for the simple fact that they are constantly pooping... >.<; [and then they try to EAT it! :p]
Thanks for the input, though. I just know that you can tell if they're sick by the coloration/consistency of it and wanted to make sure everything was ok :)

Hahahaha I've never seen any of my bettas poop. But I know they do because when I do water changes and rinse out the rocks a whole lot of it is washed out...

I never did notice, lol. I noticed left over fish flakes, but never anything else.... weird. [I have a horrible time measuring out flakes >.<] Oh well, I'm not too worried now that I've seen it. I just found it extremely odd since, like I said, I'm used to goldfish.
