Question Lighting for 10 gallon planted tank

So I decided to put some live plants into my 10 gallon, but I'm not sure what kind of lighting to get. I have a hood with a bulb that's 18" long I think. I'm not really looking to grow anything too intense since I'm just starting out, but I was just wondering what kind of bulbs you all use in your planted tanks or if you have recommendations. Thanks

What you want is either "FULL SPECTRUM" lights, or you want to make sure that the lights cover the range of 4,000 - 6,500 K. Many of the lights you see are going to be 10,000 K. This is pretty much useless to your plants. Without spending $250 or so on a new ballast and alternating daylighting and blue actinics, this is going to be your best bet.
