How many to a 10gal?

How many times would you divide a 10gal tank? I have just got 3 fish from Victoria Stark, and I wanted to know how many times I should divide it? I have 2 10gallongs that are both divided twice, and another that I can use, just have to wash it out. (freebie from my dad's friend :D)

I have everything for it, but I only have 1 essay binder left xD I needed one for a report, and Now have an uneven amount. All of the tanks are heated, and have covers and whatnot, so all I need to know is how many times I can divide it.

I would only divide a 10 gal once... you might be able to squeeze 3 in but I wouldn't recommend it.. its still about 3.3 gals apiece but 10s look so much better divided in half IMO

You can divide it 4 times. I mean, you COULD divide it 5 times, but it wouldn't look very good.

Divided 4 times makes it so each fish has 2.5 gallons. :)

Oh and PS. WE NEED PICS of the new fish!! :D hahahaha

By them being divided twice I meant that there are 2 sides to the tank, so they are divided in half xD I fail, the night quill is still in affect -sniffles-

Haha, I decided to do a w/c in my sorority today, so the one girl is in with them, and is slowly gaining way into their "click" but is hanging out with my one loner more often than none.

The other two are in a divided 10gal, divided in half :P I will try to get some pictures tomorrow, or later haha.

When I had my 10 gallon up and running I had it divided in 3 sections. 3 didn't look so bad; I actually kind of liked it. I think 4 might look a little squished?

3 i would say... 4 deffo too squashed!
half would look nice too. depends on the deco! if your doing 3, dont put too much deco in. it'll clog it up. but i would do 3 with not too much deco in em.

I vote for only once also, you can see them (and thier antics) better with only one divider.

I have mine divided into 3 and it doesn't look bad, but 2 looks better. I like mine though. It's all in your opinion I guess...

I thought about dividing my tank into 3 sections once.. but only to put a girl in between two boys... I'm glad I didn't though.. I like it much better this way.
