Eclipse still isn't doing good

He's still just as bloated and it hasn't gone down. He has internal parasites and I bought both the JPC medication and medicated food. He refuses to eat the food. I've been fasting him for about a week now and the swelling hasn't gone down even when he poops. I put a couple of the regular pellets in his tank and he ate them right up. I put the medicated food in and he wouldn't touch it. I've also soaked it in blood worm juice and he still wouldn't touch it. I wish I could mash up the regular food and the medicated food together but the instructions said that you can't mix regular food and that together. He's in medicated water, but I would like him to take the medicated food too. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Try soaking the food in garlic juice or Garlic Guard. Maybe the food tastes nasty and that's why he won't eat it.

Yeah, I know it tastes nasty.lol I tried feeding it to my other fish just as a precaution (I use the same net for all of my bettas) and they refused to eat it too.lol It was priceless the faces they made. That's why I dipped it in the blood worm juice thinking that he would love that, but he didn't even try to eat it.

I know...Maybe I'll try to crush a pellet into smaller pieces. Maybe it'll taste better if it's not a big pellet of nastiness.haha

Is he eating the regular pellets? If he is, maybe you could crush those up and put in a little bit of the medicine. Probably won't work, but it's worth a try?

I would do that, but it says right in the directions not to feed the medicated food while you feed the regular food. I don't know why. It says 'Feed exclusively for 3 consecutive days a week for 4 weeks. Do not use other foods during these 3 day periods.'
