Arrow I think I bought retarded Bettas!! lol

Ok so i just bought 2 new bettas from petsmart and they stay flared up all the time what the heck? will it stop??

If you have lights on your tanks, turn them off and see if it helps. Some fish are freaky about that stuff....

Haha Neelie! Some flare more than others. Like veganchick said, if you have the lights on, turn them off and only leave it only for a couple hours if you want them to have light, until they're comfortable.

Keep a light on outside of the tank within 5' of it. Thats what dr2b had to do for her crowntail or else he just floats around flaring.
