Wink Anyone here from the UK?

Hi, I am from the UK, and I joined this forum because it seemed really friendly and there seems to be a lot of members on here.

I am pretty new to Betta keeping , although I am quite experienced with most other tropical fish.

Here in the UK, proper Betta care information is quite limited, and most UK forums are full of people saying that Bettas need at the very bare minimum of 10 gallons , and the people on them are very fussy and give you horribly long lectures about 'proper' fish care and they have a go at you if you don't know 'everything in the world about fish'.

Here seems pretty relaxed, I checked the Betta care page and it says the minimum size is 2.5 gallons, which seems pretty reasonable to me , although it always is best to get the biggest tank you can fit and afford.

I currently have one Betta in a 4 gallon filtered, heated tank. He is 2 months old and beautiful! I am always checking on him and I'm very paranoid about him getting fin rot.

So, back to my first question, is there anyone here from the UK? If you're all from the US I might need to brush up on my US gallon converting skills

Thanks!!!!!

Thanks for the calculator thing

I usually try and convert gallons to litres, and I found a (really) rough conversion, which is to find the number of litres, times the number of gallons by four. For example, a 5 gallon tank is roughly 20 litres, a 50 gallon tank is roughly 200 litres, etc.
