He jumped over the divider, and.. well, horrible fins.

I made a divider, but it didnt fit exactly right. the tank is bow-front, but there was a TINY gap, no betta could get through it.

Anyways, i did a water change and i guess the water level went up, but i think he jumped over, and now BOTH bettas are missing scales, fins, etc. ive added salt, is there really anything else i can do?

just water changes, some aq salt, maybe turn the heater up acouple degrees is all i can think of. that happened to Ghost(rip) and Koby(rip) before things were getting better before they died from unrelated causes acouple weeks after.

aww ... maybe keeping the water level lower then you usually do will help, it worked for my guys but i also had the divider right to the top with veggie wrap covering the top with some little holes in it. lol once i had this done i seen Koby make a dash for it and smacked into the veggie wrap lmao never happened again.

haha! I did lower the water, i just think it looks ugly like that.

Im also worried about the side. i mean, a tiny bit of my finger covers it, but it runs the length of the side until the bottom. i dont know how to fix it though.

does it look like they can slip thru? if not i wouldnt really b too worried. or you can use aquarium silicone to fill in the gap or that fuzzy filter stuff may work or foam filter cut just wide enough to b pushed into the gap? lol hope these ideas help.

i agree with the silicon, add silicon to the edges it will help hold them in place too. get some mesh and make little lids so they cant jump out would be another idea
