I use mostly plastic plants and have never had trouble with them. I always test them for snags first.

Yeah most of them are probably fine, but some are seriously razor sharp on the edges.

Hahaha ok I will check them out. Should i crowd the tank with a bunch of plants hideouts ect. or should I just put in a few plants and a hide out?

ok i set up the whole tank and i am getting the filter today. Hahaha it is like a forest in the tank. My mother said I could either have fish in my tank or plants so obviously i choose a fish. I am very excited!

I had a tank with just a Snail years ago.... It was boring. Bettas are so much more interesting than just plants or snails.
