Red face Something I've been thinking about...

Okay, I may sound a little... dumb when I ask this but: When a male goes to squeeze the eggs out of the female... How and does he even fertilize them? I'm not really planning on breeding but this was just bugging me... Because it seems like it would only be the female's DNA or something, I don't know. Please explain to me what happens. :)

The male releases his "milt" or mojo into the water while the eggs are released they are fertilized externally
