poor neptune

to start with im breeding my bettas and i have everything that you could think of... i have a heater, and almond leaf, a Styrofoam cup, two live plants, and the temp is 79 degrees and everything else i need and well my male (Goliath) finished his bubble nest and my female (neptune) filled up with eggs but one day i came back from my beings and she has less and less eggs every time i see her is she releasing and eating them or is she just retracting them back idk. this has never happen to me..this is my first time breeding but i do need help with this... after me like a dummy released neptune overnight and she got literally beat up by goliath how long does the chasing and nipping take because apparently the chasing n nipping happen all night. i know i know that i shouldn't have done that but please help


How do i help her recover fast with the bit up tail?

all you can realy do for her right now is clean water hidey holes sum good ol' aquarium salt and give her some tlc

How bad are her fins?? Females can take some serious beating before they are actually in danger. If the male is constantly chasing her or nipping her body instead of her fins, that's not good. But chasing every few minutes is fine, and fins grow back. :)

My males are always in more deanger than my females LOL. My females will always be like "Um I don't see a ring on my fin I don't think so." Then she starts shredding him :P. My last male is still regrowing his fins :P.
