Unhappy betta fighting

Some of my friends went to the pet store and bought a couple betta's about a month ago. they got bored with them so they decided to fight them. they thought it was so much fun but i dont see the point. there trying to get me into it. should i do it or what

Don't get into it!!! I don't know why people get their kicks out of doing something so cruel!! If they're bored with them then why don't they give them to someone who would take care of them. Would you really want to do something so cruel to something so beautiful?

Well lemme see here what to do. Hmm you can ship your friends off to me and see how they like get beat to death.....

To be honest your friends are fighting animals which in case they haven't noticed. Sure they may not be pitts but they're still creatures that deserve respect.

I have only once put two males together no fighting was seen though (if anyone remembers my spawn with Lemon and Swimmette let's just say that Swimmette turned out to be a boy :/).

no no no i went in my room to grab my ipod then i looked in my tank, saw a ghost shrimp walking backwards and then i saw the red in her and she was dead.

Oh ok. I had three sudden deaths that I couldn't explain. They just happen it could've been a heart attack (since bettas do have hearts).
