? about cycling tank (fishless)

I'm fishlessly cycling my tank (adding ammonia each day). Currently my stats are 5, 1, ~3. Because I am having a hard time adding just one drop (I have a syringe, not a dropper) should I skip a day and let the ammonia levels go down a bit, then add as little as possible? I'd rather have it around ~2, not 5.

What do you think??

Check out this link, and the whole form too. I finished my fishless cycle with help from this site 2 weeks ago. Right now you need the ammonia to be at 5, later you let it be lowered to 2. I found using 1/4 tsp works well just fill it up about 1/2 way. You can get an eye dropper from any pharmacy.
