Please help!

Ok. Here is a pic of my tank. The problem is the pink plant. It is plastic. (Not my best idea.) Yhe only thing is that theres never been a problem with it. Now i want to take it out without cleaning the tank.(I just cleaned it saturday) I want to replace it with something else but my friend is worried with the P/H balance.(Since you have to wash it with tap water.) Can I do It? Please Help!

Don't worry about it.. take the plant out and put the new (rinsed) one in. Don't worry about the pH. Plus I've never heard of adding a plant to mess up the water chemistry.

Oh yeah, He has already torn a fin on it.
The end of his tale: a pale - looking red. Almost white.

One little plant definitely won't do anything, don't worry!

And bloo, my red betta has that pale white(yet slightly reddish) lining ALL around his end-tail. It's not healing nor is it infected with fin rot or anything - it's his natural lining. I find it odd, but it's been like that for about 3 months straight. Nothing changed. However, without a picture, we may be talking about different things??

Yeah its the best i could do. Taking Pics of bettas is hard! But it is probably not anything bad...

Ohhhhh, so like white "spots" on his tail? He probably ripped his tail a little bit, with pin-sized holes (or circular), and the white "spots" you see are him healing the fin. If I got it right, lol.

Yeah, he cut his fins on the pink plastic plant in his old tank. I even found a peice of his fin on it. ) :
